Debate: ESWL Is Here to Stay? No

A debate presentation on whether shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL, breaking stones with shock waves from outside the body) is here to stay. Dr. Joshi argued "No", comparing ESWL with RIRS and PCNL and setting out the stones and patients for which shock waves are a poor match. His talk also covered the uses of the thulium fibre laser.
